Rushville Breakfast Optimist Club Student Art Show! Saturday, September 21st @ the 201 Building in Rushville Eligibility: Young people ages 5 to 18 are invited to participate in the 6th Annual Children's Art Show. Each student (including home school) may exhibit two (2) art items. Entry Requirement: All art media accepted. Work must be the original production of the student entering. All drawings, paintings, and photos must be at least 8x10 and mounted on a stiff board for display. (Please no glass framed pictures) Entry Submission: All entries must be submitted to the Rush County Chamber of Commerce by September 16th during regular business hours. Artwork will be displayed inside the 201 Building, Rushville. Grade Divisions: Grade Levels K-3 (Category 1) Grade Levels 4-6 (Category 2) Grade Levels 7-8 (Category 3) Grade Levels 9-12 (Category 4) Prizes: People’s choice will select art contest winners for each grade category. There will be one winner for photography. Prizes are $50 for first-place winners; $25 for second-place winners, $10 for third-place winners in each category, and $50 for best photograph. Awards will be presented at the Amphitheater Saturday evening Sept. 21st. All entries must be picked up by 3:15 on the day of the show (Sept. 21st) at the 201 Building in Rushville.
