Students from the Holcad and Lion's Live crews attending the annual media and communication conference known as JDay (Journalism Day) at Ball State University on Friday, April 25th. Students attended a wide range of workshops throughout the day led by professionals in the industry. Topics included Live TV Reporting & Anchoring, Doing Great Sports Play-by-Play, How Women are Shaping the Future of Motorsports Journalism, Social Media and the News, What's in a Brand and Traveling the World and Telling Great Stories, just to name a few. The Keynote Speaker was Jennifer Prandato, Art Director of NBC Today Digital who had a great presentation on transferring from print to digital media, as well as what it's like to feel Imposter Syndrome in a constantly evolving field.
