Last Friday AM Patient Care Technician class and PM EMT class went to Rush to Escape for a Team Building Exercise. They had a great time and learned to work together as a team. Assistant EMT Instructor Bob Darnell was with them.

Connor Lyda and Vance Cupp were able to score a 2nd place finish in Science during tonights meet. Over all what a great season for these RCHS Quiz Bowl members. This is the issue Mr. Cook looks forward to each year. Students letting everyone know which staff member they are most thankful for and why. I love that kids see everything. It is not just teachers they are thankful for. They mention custodians and cafeteria staff as well. Everyone in this building plays a vital role in the lives of our kids!! Through our new EMT Vocational Program at the high school, Adrian and Samantha have completed the state Emergency Medical Responder course. They are now eligible to take their state exam. They are now currently taking the state Emergency Medical Technician course. Awesome job!!

Morning and afternoon Opportunity School sessions met with Savannah Fox (Director / Education Department) and Debra Meek (Recruiter / HR Department) from Rush Memorial Hospital today for a career opportunity overview. We had two students submit paperwork to do job shadowing at RMH and another 1-2 students who will submit paperwork soon for the job shadowing experiences.
Debra & Savannah also gave a Career Personality assessment to our students in addition to discussing opportunities for education, careers and employment opportunities within the organization. Thank you!
