We would like to highlight our Early Graduates from Opportunity School with Mrs. Logan. Congratulations, Cadence Griffith!!!!!!

We had some great nominations for RCHS student of the month for November. We wish we could pick them all! Austin Bousman, Joe Richards, Ava Heaston, Haley Stahl, and Emma Tressler are the additional nominees for our student of the month. We have the best kids!

We have students who do amazing things in and out of the school and we want to make sure they are recognized! We have the Lions SHARE program that teachers are able to nominate students for exemplary scholarship, honor, attendance, relationships, and effort. For this first post, we have included the informational photo that talks about Lions SHARE and each week we will share the students who earned a nomination. This week we would like to recognize Qing Chen and Jensen Burg. Congratulations!

Happy Veterans Day!

The RCHS Principles of Fire & Rescue completed their practical skills evaluation for the Indiana Department of Homeland Security Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations certification on Friday.
These two certifications represent that the students are trained to a competency level that prepares them to respond to and assist in the mitigation process of a hazardous materials emergency. Each student had to identify that a hazardous material situation was present, determine what resources they needed to contain, confine and prevent the incident from getting worse, create a plan of action, implement that action plan, and ultimately mitigate the emergency. We hope that certifications like this will assist students on their career paths after high school!

Have a great weekend and enjoy reading about this past week at RCHS!!

RCHS had a College and Career Fair for our students on Monday during SRT. Our Auxiliary gym was full of tables for students to talk with as well as an outside portion that students could visit. Thank you to Mrs. Thoman, Mrs. Hornsby, and Mr. Orme for setting this up for our students! Please see the attached image for all of the groups that took time out of their day to talk to our students.
