Rush County Schools Dyslexia Reporting:
School Year 2023-24
Each school corporation or charter school must report the following dyslexia-related information on their website no later than July 15th of each year per the IDOE Guidance.
The dyslexia intervention program(s) used during the previous school year (2022-23) to support students with dyslexia.
UFLI, Barton, Orton Gillingham, PRIDE Reading Program, and Foundations in Sounds
The number of students who received dyslexia intervention during the previous school year (2022-23). This indicator represents the number of students who were identified as “at risk” or “at some risk” for dyslexia during the previous school year and who received the appropriate accommodations.
Rushville Elementary - At Risk/Some Risk = 60, Interventions = 55
Milroy - At Risk/Some Risk = 13, Interventions = 13
Arlington - At Risk/Some Risk = 8, Interventions = 8
The number of students identified with dyslexia during the previous school year (2022-23). This indicator represents the number of students who were officially diagnosed with dyslexia and may differ from the number of students who received dyslexia intervention under the guidelines within this document.
One student was officially diagnosed with dyslexia.
