Earlier this semester many of our 8th grade students lost out on some real life experiences that were going to be provided during the school day. We are wanting to at least be able to provide a fraction of those experiences to those students. We are in need of parents, local businesses, community volunteers, etc. to provide the following experiences to our students.
1. All things money (banking, budgeting, spending money)
2. Food unit (learning how to cook, bake, etc.)
3. Sewing, crocheting, etc.
If you or someone you know that might be interested, please contact Jeremy Powers, principal at 765-932-2968 or powersj@rushville.k12.in.us to discuss further how this would look during the school day.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Powers
Principal

Congratulations to all of our students who received a positive office referral for February.
Today 12 of our 7th grade BRMS students visited all of the county elementary schools including St. Mary's and Mays to prepare the current 6th grade students for middle school next year. The current students also heard from Ms. Hedrick about scheduling for next year and Mrs. Campbell about band and choir. It was a great day visiting all of our elementary schools and we look forward to having them join us at BRMS next school year.
Congratulations to Ella Tressler, Jasmine Isaacs, Ava Fields, and Emma Booher who correctly guess the Staff Senior Pictures Guess Who Game courtesy of Ms. Gina in the library. Staff dug up their old high school pictures and students had a mission; play detective and pair them with their rightful staff member.
Next week is National FFA week and BRMS is celebrating with spirit days.
